Pregnancy Granuloma/Tumor
Pregnancy tumors are variants of pyogenic granulomas and have been reported to occur in up to 5% of pregnancies. This patient is in her 3rd trimester and has developed a pregnancy tumor and generalized gingival edema. The patient was instructed to improve her oral hygiene and return after her pregnancy.
The same patient one month post partum. Improved oral hygiene reduced her gingival edema. Her pregnancy tumor receded spontaneously post partum.
