Palatal Kaposi’s sarcoma (KS) lesions on the hard and soft palate of a patients with AIDS. Patient’s CD4 cell count at the time was >200 cells/µL.
Longstanding nodular Kaposi’s sarcoma that was traumatized causing an ulceration. Patient’s CD4 cell count was >200 cells/µL.
Gingival Kaposi’s sarcoma lesion. Extra-palatal lesions are usually associated with a poor prognosis. Patient’s CD4 cell count was <200 cells/µL.
